To reposition a lesser known, family-owned hotel company and introduce it to travel trade, corporate clients and the leisure market. To position Personality Hotels as a major player in the San Francisco boutique hotel market.
The Plan
Conceived and launched the Hotel Diva’s Annual “Beauty Mark Award”- an honor bestowed upon an outstanding member of the community who represents the city’s unique style and spirit. Staged a grand opening event for the Hotel Metropolis, with proceeds benefiting local homeless center. Positioned the company president as a prominent female hotelier in national and international press. Garnered extensive radio, lifestyle TV, print and travel trade exposure. Created successful packages dovetailing with contemporary social and travel trends.
The Result
All Personality Hotels experienced a dramatic upsurge in bookings, appearances in major travel media outlets including national guidebooks, and recognition in the San Francisco boutique world.
